The Welland Tennis Club
is home to a vibrant Junior Program designed for all
levels of players between 5-18 years of age. The program
is aimed at developing sportsmanship, social skills,
and teamwork fundamentals. Its success is undeniable,
as the program continues to be the source of Provincial
and National-level competitors.
The Junior program began
in 1979. Six of the junior club members in the 1990’s
attended US universities on tennis scholarships with
three becoming All American.
